TabTrade — What It Is
TabTrade opened in March 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.
That last detail is relevant. It says the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform that is a few months old, that range is broad.
What You Trade On
They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people find it more natural once they try it.
FIX API is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That will be a good addition when it arrives.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Works for beginners.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, custom pricing. Not something most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
This is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering holds up. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
Now, the part that matters. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. But inform how you think about it.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.
